From May 1st to July 1st, Forst & Jagthuset invites all anglers to take part in this year’s Pike Fight.
The competition is simple: Catch a pike in Denmark, measure it correctly using the official measuring tape, and submit your documentation.
Only the length counts. The longest pike wins.

How to Participate
Sign up in the store or order the registration package online.
The entry fee is 250 DKK, and you will receive quality gear included in the package.
When you register, you will receive:
- ✔️ Savage Gear Roll Up measuring tape
- ✔️ Rapala polarized sunglasses
(Total value approx. 400 DKK)
The measuring tape must be used to measure your catch in order for it to qualify for the competition.

Submission and Prizes
When you catch a record fish, send your photos along with your name and documentation to:

📅 At the beginning of July, we will announce the three winners – they will be notified directly by email.
🏆 All approved photos will be displayed on our catch screen in the store and featured in a gallery on our website.
Rules and Important Information
- You can sign up at any time during the competition – but only fish caught after your registration will count.
- Only fish caught in Denmark are accepted.
- You must use the official measuring tape provided – using any other measuring tape will result in disqualification.
- Only one prize per participant – however, you may submit a new and larger fish during the competition, which will replace your previously submitted catch.
- Zero tolerance for cheating – we check metadata and reserve the right to disqualify participants.
- By submitting photos, you accept that we may use them in articles, on social media, on our website, and in the store.
- It is not required, but we strongly recommend catch and release for all pike.
How to Register Your Catch
To participate in the competition, you must catch a pike in Denmark between May 1 and July 1, 2026, and document the catch with the following:
- Photo of the fish on the official measuring tape, where the length is clearly visible
- Photo of yourself with the fish – the classic winner photo
- All photos must contain metadata with GPS coordinates and date
(photos without correct metadata will be disqualified – it is your responsibility to ensure this!)
